A young man in a sports uniform kneels on one knee on a sports field, holding a large camera with a long telephoto lens, aiming it towards the front, near the sideline at night. There is another person in the background standing near a fence with a laptop.

Bigman Photography

Hi! I’m Andrew Bigman, a freshman at St. John’s School in Houston and a photographer focused on sports, street photography, and real moments.

I got into photography because I love being able to freeze things that happen in a split second. A big play, a celebration, someone’s expression, or just a random moment on the street can tell a whole story if you catch it at the right time.

Sports are a huge part of what I shoot. I love capturing the speed and intensity of the game, but also the emotion around it: the preparation, reactions, celebrations, and moments between plays that people might otherwise miss.

Street photography gives me a chance to notice things differently. I like finding interesting people, light, architecture, and small everyday moments that can turn into something memorable through a camera.

What interests me most about photography is storytelling. I want my photos to do more than show what happened. I want them to give a sense of the people, energy, and story behind the moment.
